I rarely do reviews but I’ve got to share my reaction to how great this pump is! I’ve got an inflatable boat and all the other rechargeable pumps are far too weak. This one is super powerful, small, extremely well made, even has a light and multiple attachments. All for a very low price. I know it sounds like someone is paying me to say this but I’m doing this on my own. This is the one to get!

Efficient and compact (noise level tolerable)
This air pump works great for my large pool inflatables. My previous pump had a high pitch ear splitting noise that made it unbearable to use. This pump is loud, but not nearly as loud or horrible as my previous one. This one is tolerable. It is small and compact. I don’t need the light function or the power bank function but I think that is pretty amazing. I took one star off because the power button isn’t always responsive. I have to try to figure out if it is dead or just being weird. Has been great otherwise.

Small but Mighty!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This air pump was mainly purchased to keep on my jet ski for river/island trips to keep from having to worry with running my ski battery down. I’ve used it primarily for inflating river floats and even some larger inflatable sun tub tanning floats and it has worked flawlessly. It moves quite a bit of air for the size and the battery has yet to leave me hanging. It can inflate the float in the picture in about 1 minute which is impressive.

Powerful little pump. Essential camping tool.
This is a quality tool! I’ll start with the bad, limited buttons make for a weird user interface. Read the manual to understand how to operate it, there are time sensitive button press functions. That’s the only negative. This thing rocks! It blows up my mattress in less than a minute. It blew up everyone’s mattress. It also blew up 2 kayaks. It comes with all the connections I needed, and a way to store them that makes sense. The light on it is also very strong, totally useful during camping. Love the large battery capacity too. This is an essential camping companion.

So I bought this to blow up my full size air mattress for a glamping trip. I expected it to take 10- 15mins. This thing blew it up within 3 minutes! I would not walk away unless you plan to come back right away. Yes, it’s loud but powerful. I also bought the other brand for tires in hopes to use it as a backup. I haven’t tested the other yet as I was thoroughly pleased with this little gadget. My hands are small and it’s as big if not slightly bigger. Has some weight to it. Came charged. As described, would highly recommend! I believe there’s another one that’s like a 4(?) that I was looking into and this is the 5, newest- more improved one I believe. Get it! I saw an orange one different brand that’s similar with very mixed reviews. This one also had mixed reviews but not like that one. So I took a chance and went with this. Glad I did, seriously. Oh deflation seemed to take a little longer than inflation. Either I didn’t attach it in correctly but it deflated slow. I could’ve easily unplugged my air mattress and let it out faster but I wanted to see if it worked and at what speed. I’m sure I could unplug it, replug it and let it deflate the rest of the air like a suction vacuum. I shall play with it.
Had this for almost a year (in 4 months) and it came charged but I charged it completely one time. Now, I left it at my sisters along with my air matress for when I come to town and visit. The damn thing still works. I figured it jt would be dead and need charging. I don’t know how much juice it has left but it’s still going strong after using it 4x to blow this stupid mattress up. Highly recommend buying this product.

Fantastic Air Pump in a compact package
Pros: It feels well built and everything works fantastically for the few times I’ve tried it out to inflate a mattress. Having a convenient lantern is also nice to cut down on having separate items when camping and worrying about forgetting something. The light has multiple levels of brightness and a strobe mode and with the cap/light diffuser is relatively pleasant and not harsh light. Con: A minor con is that if you have the light cover attached and turn the air pump functionality on, it will blow off the cover so if you’re storing anything in there or not expecting it that is something to watch out for.

Fantastic little device!
This Etenwolf compact HVLP inflator is another great product from Etenwolf, and is now my go-to for quick inflation and deflation of our fleet of inflatables. This is the second Etenwolf product I have, and I’m very convinced that this company is quite serious about sticking around. The build quality on this pump is fantastic: the seams are tight, the material is thick and strong, the buttons push perfectly…all in all, the “quality” of this is top-notch. Plus, the battery life is huge. The inflator comes packaged nicely in a kit with a variety of attachments for inflating all sorts of low-pressure inflatables. These can also be used on either end to either inflate or deflate, which is hugely helpful when it comes to deflating and packing things away. There’s also a lantern bonnet and a hook, enabling you to turn the light on and hang it from above. This is a great feature for us camping-types! The unit works wonderfully, it’s built wonderfully, and it’s amazingly useful. For the price, this is a winner!

Powerful suction/ inflate
I bought this for 2 reasons: Vacuum bags for bedding organization in storage bins & travel vacuum bags for luggage for international trip. It works better than expected on both! I researched/tested many compact/travel size pumps (battery or rechargeable) and the Etenwolf is the most powerful hands down. Some A/C power pumps can be more powerful but bulkier. I compared this one to the Intex battery-powered pump which has an air flow of 420L/min. By putting my hand on the suction and exhale air flow nozzles it was noticeably stronger on the Etenwolf with an true air flow of 720 L/min on high speed & 450 L/min in low speed. The Etenwolf is clearly smaller in size and weighs the same. I’ve attached a photo of 2 vacuum bags that I purchased and the Etenwolf worked with both (even without using one of the nozzles included). Hold Power button for 3 seconds, then click 1 time for high speed, 2 times for low speed, 3 times for no flow. Hold for 3 seconds to turn OFF. – variety of nozzles included – lightweight & compact design is perfect for travel – USB-C charging (can output power to charge cell phone) – USB port (can output power to charge cell phone or other devices) – light has 4 settings, very bright – See photos & videos of before and after.

This is one powerful inflator/deflator. It comes with various nozzles and a drawstring carrying bag for the beach. Once again, ETENWOLF engineers & designers comes thru with a great product. It seems everything they make is great! Yes I’m Amazon Vine, but trust me, I’m not afraid to give a product a 1 star rating, and 5 stars are hard to get from me. This is surely a 5 star product! It’s about the size of a can of beer, but it can blow air across the room. Not kidding. There’s a trade off though, it is on the loud side, like a vacuum. So if you’re blowing up an air mattress, do it before everyone’s asleep. This is a great produce and let’s you keep the plug-in inflator at home. Made in China.

The pump works great and the fact that it’s rechargeable and also runs as a secondary backup for a flashlight. It’s a light flashlight but it’s enough to light up inside of a tent or an immediate area thank you

I had the opportunity to use the Etenwolf 5 air pump for the first time yesterday to inflate my pool inflatables. The Etenwolf 5 inflated everything effortlessly and quickly. In the past it was a chore to get all of my pool inflatables inflated and ready to use but no more. I was done in no time. I was amazed how many pool floats I was able to inflate and the air pumps battery and motor kept on running strong. This air pump literally blows away every other air pump that I have purchased over the years and I have quite a collection of those underperforming air pumps. I cannot wait to use this air pump to inflate my air mattress the next time I go camping. No more searching the house or having to buy D cell or C cell batteries to run those underwhelming air pumps I have used for so many years.
