The ETENWOLF P400 is a 660 W AC-powered electric balloon pump that moves 450 L/min of air — inflating a standard 11-inch latex balloon in approximately 5 seconds. It runs on AC 110 V (no 220 V version) and offers two operating modes: Touch-on (press and hold) and Auto (hands-free). Important: The P400 inflates with air, not helium — balloons will not float. It does not support 260Q long/twisting balloons due to pressure limitations; for those, the P600 is required. Maximum continuous operation is 2 hours before risk of motor overheating.

The P400 inflates balloons with ordinary air — not helium or hydrogen. Air-filled balloons are heavier than air and will not float or rise to the ceiling. If floating balloons are required, a helium tank and regulator are needed; the P400 is not suitable for that purpose.

2 Nozzle Types

Balloon Compatibility

The P400’s pressure output covers round latex and most foil balloons. It cannot reach the pressure required for 260Q twisting/modeling balloons; use the P600 for those.

The P400 (450 L/min, 660 W, single motor) suits home use and small events; the P600 (850 L/min, 600 W, dual motor with high-pressure stage) is ~89% faster in raw flow rate, supports 260Q twisting balloons through its high-pressure motor, and includes 4 nozzle types vs 2. Will P400-inflated balloons float?

No. The P400 inflates balloons with ordinary compressed air, not helium or hydrogen. Air is denser than air at room temperature; air-filled balloons sink to the floor. For floating balloons, a helium tank and regulator are required — the P400 cannot produce helium.

Can the P400 inflate 260Q twisting / modeling balloons?

No. 260Q long/twisting balloons require significantly higher pressure than round latex balloons, and the P400’s single motor does not reach that pressure level. The ETENWOLF P600 (dual motor with high-pressure stage) supports 260Q balloons through its dedicated twisting-balloon mode.

How long does it take to inflate a 11-inch balloon? How many per hour?

How long can I run the P400 continuously?

Maximum recommended continuous operation is 2 hours. Beyond 2 hours, the motor may overheat and sustain damage. After 2 hours of use, allow the unit to cool before continuing.

Does the P400 work outside the US (220 V)?

No. The P400 is rated for AC 110 V only. There is no 220 V version. Using it on 220 V circuits without a step-down transformer will damage the unit.
